There’s something incredibly special about documenting those early days when a new baby joins the family. Recently, I had the joy of photographing a beautiful newborn baby girl and her amazing family — and this session was all kinds of sweet.
From the moment they walked in, you could feel the love radiating between everyone. Little babe slept peacefully through the entire family portion of the session, snuggled into mom and dad’s arms, completely content. Her siblings, full of pride and curiosity, were the gentlest big brother and sister I’ve ever seen. They held her with such care, whispered to her, and made sure she was always cozy and calm. It was a heart-melting reminder of how much love a new baby brings.
While our sleepy girl gave us plenty of dreamy poses, she also decided to open her eyes during her solo portraits — and what a treat that was! Those bright, curious eyes gave us a glimpse into her little personality. We managed to capture her beautiful expressions, soft features, and all those tiny, perfect details that change so quickly in the first few weeks.
It’s always an honor to be invited into these intimate moments — to freeze time for just a little while and give families something to treasure forever.
